Save Disc Image

The purpose of this tool is to save a compact disk into an image file (or set of files) on your hard disk. The saved image can then be used further for the restoration or the duplication of compact disk. To perform this operation you need to load a compact disk into the recording device, to choose this device as the source device, to select the type and parameters for the image to be saved, then to press the Save as... button. You can then set desired name for the image file in the file selection dialog that's displayed and press the button OK.

Warning: Ensure your hard drive has enough free space. For DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-Ray disks copying, the file system on hard drive has to support files with sizes exceeding 4GB (JFS).

By default, a standard ISO image that can be used in most of the burning softwares will be created, unless cloning of all data of a disk or saving audio CD image has been selected.

Warning: Saving of an ISO image of a multisession compact disk is impossible. If there is no necessity for creation of an exact disk image, copy all files from compact disk to a hard disk and create a new image via Burn Files tool.
