I installed eCS 1.2MR on a TP 23. The install went very well. Even the onboard modem works!

But "Pulse" indicator on the e_center *always* shows significant activity, even when I am not doing anything. So, go to System Setup > Power > Properties > Power Management > and Select "APM BIOS support enabled"
